Virtual Career Expo -- Monday, June 23 -- Sunday, July 13 and Monday, October 6 -- October 26
Job seekers entering the Star-Telegram Virtual Career Expo site will be able to access employer profiles from three categories:  Healthcare / Social Services, Professional / Skilled, and General Opportunities.

Trucking and Transportation Employment Fair -- July 26, and November 8, 2008
This one-day event has been developed as a forum for job-seekers to meet fact-to-face with area businesses representatives in the industry. The job fair is free to attend and parking is free. The employment fair is for drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, warehouse, shipping, courier/delivery, technicians and more in the trucking and transportation industry.

Bridal Show --August 17, 2008 and January 4, 2009
The Star-Telegram Bridal Shows are the premier Bridal Events in Tarrant County. From bridal apparel to photographers to florists to caterers to jewelers to travel agencies and more, the exhibitors come prepared to show you their best. DFW Career Conference -- Wednesday, September 10, 2008
Star-Telegram and The Dallas Morning News have joined forces to host this special event to help put the Metroplex back to work. This job fair is free to attend; parking is $5. The all-day event will include:
» Educational seminars specifically for job seekers
» Resume analysis and tips from professional resume reviewers
» Networking opportunities as well as prize-giveaways and a separate 8,000 square foot job fair area.

Nursing Job Fair -- October 28, 2008
Nursing Job Fair for nursing students and experienced nurses. We are forecasting 850 - 1,000 attendees. There is no admittance fee for this career fair; parking fees may apply.

Stock Show Art Show -- December 2008 - February 2009
Deadline for entries is always the first Friday in December. If you’re a young artist, you'll want to enter the Star-Telegram Stock Show Art Show.

Vacation & Cruise Show --  Sunday, January 18, 2009
Star-Telegram and Tarrant Travel Alliance have teamed up to produce the Vacation & Cruise Show. This one-day travel show will be attended by hundreds of North Texas travelers who will visit the show to find more information about leisure, adventure, recreation, and international travel.

Spelling Bee --
Regional Championship Spelling Bee Information for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Star-Telegram HomeBuyers Show -- (more information to come)
This one-day event is designed as a trade show allowing area housing experts to offer first-hand information about their products and services to potential first-time and experienced home buyers. Attendees can also learn more about all phases of the home-buying process by talking with housing professionals on the exhibit floor and by attending educational sessions.
